Provide an advocacy, connection, and education collaboration point for families with students in the IEP/504 process, while continuing to support and promote an inclusion-advocate culture at SLES with all staff, families and students.

Classroom Volunteers Needed to Lead Mindfulness and Movement Activities

Are you interested in increasing self-regulation and coping strategies for BIG emotions in your children, students and YOU?

Do you have experience in elementary education, yoga, and/or mindfulness

SLES is piloting a program to help students and teachers learn awareness, coping skills and stress management tools through MINDFULNESS AND MOVEMENT.

On January 28, PTA will hold a 2-hr training for parent volunteers to lead 15-20 minute movement and mindfulness sessions in the classroom twice a month.
